— Team
Board & Advisors
A diverse team of
UK and Libyan
professionals.
Our board is drawn from Parliament, the diplomatic service, and the boardrooms of the priority sectors we serve. An overview below; full biographies are shared on request.

Board of Directors
Stewardship,
not theatre.
The board meets quarterly in London. Public profiles are intentionally restrained; full biographies are shared with members and qualified counterparties.
A small team chosen for judgement, not titles.
The board brings together figures from Parliament and the diplomatic service alongside senior operators from the sectors we serve — a blend of British and Libyan experience working to one standard. Collectively it sets strategy and safeguards governance, sustains relationships across HM Government, the FCDO, and Libyan ministries, and steers the Association's trade, membership, and events programmes.
Individual roles and full biographies are kept deliberately private for now, and are shared with members and qualified counterparties on request.

In Their Words
The point of a board like ours is not to occupy seats. It is to open them — for the members who walk in after us.

Advisory Council
Counsel from
both capitals.
Beyond the board, the Association draws on a standing circle of advisors whose careers span both capitals — former diplomats and ministers, senior counsel in UK–Libya trade law, and leaders from energy and the Libyan diaspora.
They lend discreet, high-level counsel on policy, market access, and reputation, and are introduced to members where a particular brief calls for it.
